Designed as a 2U rack server, the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 can accommodate up to two 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Platinum processors with a maximum power rating of 205W. It supports a massive memory capacity of up to 9TB, utilizing 24 DIMM slots with 128GB DIMMs and Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory, operating at TruDDR4 speeds of 2666/2933MHz.

For expansion, the server offers up to 7 PCIe 3.0 slots with various riser options, including one dedicated PCIe slot for RAID adapters. Storage capabilities include up to 14 hot-swap 3.5″ bays or 24 hot-swap 2.5″ bays, with support for 12 AnyBay and 24 NVMe bays, as well as two M.2 boot drives configured in RAID 1.

RAID support features hardware RAID with up to 24 ports and flash cache, alongside up to 16 ports for HBA.
