This robust 2U rack-mount server supports up to two Intel Xeon processors from the Gen 2 Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum series, accommodating up to 28 cores with core speeds reaching 2.7 GHz. For enhanced performance, it can achieve up to 3.9 GHz with 8 cores and features UPI links that can reach 10.4 GT/s (utilizing 2 UPI links). The server is equipped with a maximum cache of 38.5 MB and supports memory speeds of up to 2933 MHz. The underlying chipset is Intel C624.

With 24 DIMM slots (12 DIMMs for each processor), the server supports a variety of DIMM types:

• TruDDR4 RDIMMs: 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB Performance+ 2933 MHz; 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB at 2933 MHz; and 16 GB and 32 GB at 2666 MHz.
• TruDDR4 3DS RDIMMs: 128 GB Performance+ 2933 MHz; 128 GB at 2933 MHz; and 64 GB at 2666 MHz.

Note: Mixing RDIMMs and 3DS RDIMMs is not permitted. Additionally, it supports persistent memory with up to 12 modules of 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB TruDDR4 2666 MHz DCPMMs in the DIMM slots.
