Refund & Returns Policy

At Me Hardware Tech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we are committed to providing high-quality IT hardware products and professional services. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which products may be returned, replaced, or refunded.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this policy.


1. Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return, replacement, or refund within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase.

After the 30-day period, products shall only be eligible for service under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, where available.

Returned products must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused and in original condition.
  • Original packaging, accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase must be included.
  • The product must not be physically damaged, altered, or tampered with.

2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Software products once opened, activated, or unsealed.
  • Digital products, licenses, activation keys, and service subscriptions.
  • Downloadable or cloud-based services.
  • Customized, special-order, or made-to-order products.
  • Products with broken manufacturer or distributor seals.

3. Products Damaged During Transit

In the event that a shipment is received in a damaged condition:

Visible Damage at Delivery:

Customers are advised to refuse delivery and immediately notify the courier service.

Concealed Damage:

If damage is discovered after unpacking:

  • The customer must contact the courier company for inspection.
  • The Company must be informed within two (2) business days of delivery.

Failure to report within this timeframe may result in rejection of the claim.


4. Defective or DOA (Dead on Arrival) Products

If a product is found to be defective or non-functional upon delivery:

  • The Company will arrange a replacement at no additional cost, subject to technical verification.
  • All returned products will undergo inspection by our technical team.

If the product is found to be fully functional, a restocking fee of up to fifty percent (50%) of the product value shall apply.


5. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns must be processed through an official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Return procedure:

  • The customer must contact our support team to obtain an RMA number.
  • Returns submitted without an RMA will not be accepted or processed.
  • Products must be shipped back within ten (10) days of RMA approval.
  • The RMA shall automatically expire after ten (10) days.

6. Restocking Fees

Restocking fees shall be applied based on the condition of the returned product:

Product Condition Restocking Fee
New – Factory Sealed 20%
New – Open Box (Complete) 30%
Open Box (Missing Items) 50%
Order Cancelled After Processing 30%
Used / No Longer Required Up to 80%

The Company reserves the right to determine product condition.


7. Shipping & Refund Processing

  • Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or Company error.
  • Applicable taxes will be refunded where legally permissible.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days after inspection.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.


8. Fraud Prevention & Quality Control

For security and quality assurance purposes:

  • All outgoing shipments are scanned and video-recorded prior to dispatch.
  • Only the exact products originally delivered to the customer are eligible for return.
  • Any evidence of tampering, substitution, or misuse will result in immediate rejection of the return.

9. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are permitted only in the following cases:

  • The product is defective.
  • An incorrect item was supplied by the Company.
  • Replacement stock is available.

All exchanges are subject to technical verification and approval.


10. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses.
  • Business interruption or data loss.
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or third-party handling.

11. Policy Amendments

Me Hardware Tech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on our website.
