The LENOVO THINKSYSTEM SR650 Server is a robust 2U rack server designed for optimal performance. It supports up to 2 second-generation Intel® Xeon® Platinum processors, each capable of consuming up to 205W. Memory capacity can reach up to 9TB across 24 DIMM slots using 128GB DIMMs and Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory, with speeds of 2666MHz / 2933MHz TruDDR4.

For expansion, the server offers up to 7 PCIe 3.0 slots via various riser options, including a dedicated PCIe slot for a RAID adapter. Storage capabilities include up to 14 hot-swap 3.5” bays or 24 2.5” bays, with options for up to 12 AnyBay or 24 NVMe bays and 2 M.2 boot drives configured in RAID 1.

In terms of security and availability, the server is equipped with TPM 1.2 / 2.0, PFA, and features like hot-swap redundancy for drives, fans, and power supplies, along with light path diagnostic LEDs.
