The FTE8504K1LTY transceiver is engineered for endurance and short-reach applications, supporting 1 GbE as well as 4G/2G/1G Fibre Channel. It operates efficiently within an extended temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and features conformal coating for high reliability in corrosive settings.
This transceiver supports optical data links ranging from 125 Mb/s to 10.3 Gb/s over multimode fibers. Options include short-reach 850nm VCSEL multimode or long-reach 1310nm DFB single-mode configurations.
With a compact form-factor—half the size of standard SFF transceivers—this board-mounted device integrates built-in digital diagnostic functions. It utilizes a single 3.3V power supply and is interoperable with both standard SFP and SFP Plus optical transceivers.
Additionally, it meets rigorous standards, having qualified for MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-883, and GR-486-CORE tests, ensuring reliability and performance in demanding environments.
