This full-duplex transceiver is designed for optical data transmission over dual glass optical fibers. Options include Short-Reach 850nm VCSEL Multimode and Long-Reach 1310nm DFB Single-mode (SMF) variants. The transceiver is available in multi-rate and rate-select versions, featuring a compact form factor that is half the size of traditional SFF transceivers. It is board-mounted and equipped with built-in digital diagnostic capabilities.

Connectivity is facilitated through LC Duplex optical connections, powered by a single 3.3V supply. The module is interoperable with standard SFP and SFP Plus optical transceivers. It operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, with extreme storage capabilities from -57°C to 100°C. Additionally, there is an option for conformal coating to ensure high reliability in corrosive environments. This transceiver meets the rigorous standards outlined in MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-883, and GR-486-CORE, and complies with the requirements for Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel.
