The Finisar FTEN2117P1NUN is a full-duplex transceiver designed for optical data links utilizing two glass optical fibers. It offers both short-reach (850nm VCSEL multimode) and long-reach (1310nm DFB single-mode) options, catering to diverse networking needs. With multi-rate and rate select versions available, this compact transceiver is half the size of traditional SFF models, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.

Board-mounted and equipped with built-in digital diagnostic capabilities, it features an LC Duplex optical connection and operates on a single 3.3V power supply. The module is interoperable with standard SFP and SFP+ optical transceivers, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Its extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and extreme storage temperature range from -57°C to 100°C make it suitable for harsh environments. Additionally, conformal coating is available for enhanced reliability in corrosive settings.
