This hot-pluggable SFP transceiver module supports bi-directional data links at speeds up to 4.25 Gb/s, making it ideal for Fast Ethernet applications. It operates within the C-Band DWDM 100GHz ITU Fixed Channel spectrum and is suitable for 4G Fibre Channel connections. The transceiver is optimized for amplified DWDM networks and can efficiently handle ring topologies with both fixed and reconfigurable OADMs. It features a low dispersion DFB laser that ensures a reach of up to 80km, complemented by an extended link budget thanks to APD receiver technology. The wavelength is tightly controlled within ± 0.1 nm across its operational life and varying temperatures. The device operates with a single 3.3V power supply and utilizes an LC Duplex connector. Additionally, it includes built-in digital diagnostic functions to monitor performance. The transceiver is designed for commercial temperature ranges, operating effectively between -5°C to 70°C.
